A well-known holiday park in Skegness’ existing swimming pool air handling unit (AHU) had been on site for less than 20 years. They were being faced with numerous repair bills and high running costs. Neighbours in nearby holiday homes and even further were also complaining about the noise being made by the existing system.
Being able to provide a peaceful holiday park environment is a top priority so they sought to replace their existing AHU.
They were specified with another air handling unit offering. However, after conducting thorough research themselves, the client prioritized finding the best product on the market to provide both service, reliability and running costs and chose Recotherm for the project.
Challenges:
The park aimed to have the new unit delivered and operational by Easter, so were not able to make large structural changes in order to accommodate a new AHU.
Access was limited and only available through double doors and the sizable unit sited high in the building structure on a mezzanine floor.
