Aerum

Aerum

The Recotherm Aerum range uses fresh air to dehumidify with clean air which is better for the atmosphere and health, while the heat pump side is for eco heating or substantial cooling.

So, you get all the features you normally associate with the Recotherm Aeris range:
• Very high build quality
• State of the art controls
• A pleasant fresh air environment
• Technical backup

But with the added advantage that the unit is a standalone air heating and cooling package.

The NEW Aerum range of units feature a refrigerant coil instead of a water coil, so the heat is taken from the air to the refrigerant, and then directly to the pool hall air. It is therefore more efficient and because we are coupling this coil to a top branded outdoor unit, (which comes with a 5 year warranty), we know that servicing and maintenance is readily available throughout the country.

This concept shouldn’t be confused with the refrigerant ‘heat pump’ dehumidifiers in the older (1970’s design) re-circ systems that used to be used by many in the pool trade. Their cold coil removed the humidity, but in the process dropped the air temperature right down, then had to use its hot coil to heat it back up to close to its original temperature.

The heat pump installation needs to be carried out by specialist refrigeration engineers. If you are looking for a stand-alone fresh air heating/dehumidification unit with cooling option, that will be energy efficient and meet the new regulations, then this could be the solution you have been looking for.

To help customers make the correct choice of system, Recotherm have qualified, time served surveyors, designers and F gas engineers in-house. The air to water systems are usually independent of their air handling units and dealt with by contractors, but we have experienced team members able to support customers with impartial advice on projects.
